Roof ladder, Hay forks, Sweeping brush and short extension ladder.
Major pump with foam making branch (FB5X) and short length of hose for water tank filling.
FIRE PUMP
The fire pump is a Godiva GMB2700 mounted at the rear of the
appliance. The pump has a 4" suction
inlet and pipework from the tank. The pump is a bronze two
stage multi-pressure unit which can be
used for high volume low pressure output, low volume high
pressure output or both simultaneously.
The pump is fitted with two delivery valves complete with
blank caps.
PRIMING SYSTEM
The main pump efficiently pumps water but cannot extract
water from a suction hose and pipework
when starting to pump water from an external source. The
primer, using water from the main tank,
creates the necessary vacuum in the suction hose enabling
atmospheric pressure to force water into
the pump. When the main pump produces pressure it
automatically disengages the primer. The primer
can be isolated manually if required.
WATER TANK
The water tank has a capacity of 1800 litres and is
rotationally moulded in cross linked polyethylene.
Integral baffles in the tank reduce the surging of the
contents when the vehicle is in motion. The top
of the tank has a removable cover plate to permit internal
access for cleaning and inspection purposes.
Also fitted to the top of the tank is a pressure relief cap
and anti-spill overflow, terminating behind the
rear axle. Moulded into the tank is a filling orifice and
outlet.
