Crowle Carnival 2003

Humberside Fire Brigades presence at local carnivals and rural country shows are very important to the community, this gives the opportunity for the visitors to see the equipment on the fire appliance and to ask the Brigade fire service related questions, it is also a good recruitment ground for potential new retained firefighters.

On most occasions it is the children that seem to show most interest especially seeing the fire engine and been able to sit inside the engine.

This years Crowle carnival was a great success and the weather was kind to all the visitors, the venue was St Norbert's Roman Catholic School Crowle, here are a few of the images captured on the day.

The Carnival was Officially opened by Nigel Wilson who appeared on the BBC's Fame Academy programme.

This years Carnival Queen was Bethany Purslow ( Centre Picture )
